Which airlines have a first class cabin?+
Fewer than you might think. British Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, Air France and Etihad all describe first class products on their own pages, but several limit them to certain aircraft or routes. Virgin Atlantic has no first cabin. For first class flights on your route, check the aircraft for the date you want.
How is first class different from business class?+
On airlines that sell both, first sits above business. On British Airways, First allows 3 hold bags against 2 in business, comes with its own wing at Heathrow Terminal 5 and a separate lounge, and has a private suite. The gap between the 2 cabins differs by airline, so compare them on your route.
Is first class on a US domestic flight the same product?+
No. CNN reported that first class on US domestic flights is a different product from international first class, which American, United and Delta have dropped or planned to drop. When you compare first class flights, check whether the fare is for an international first cabin or a domestic cabin on the same airline.
Do you list deals on first class flights?+
Yes, ones we have offered before. The first class deals on this page show the kind of fares we find, with the airline and the price per person. They are not live prices. Send your route and ask for the price on your dates.
Does a first class ticket include a lounge?+
On British Airways and Lufthansa, yes. British Airways runs the Concorde Room at Heathrow Terminal 5 for First, and Lufthansa says its First Class Terminal in Frankfurt is for passengers with a confirmed Lufthansa Group First flight that day. Lounges differ by airport, so check the lounge at your departure airport.
