Who we are
Get The Flight Out (GTFO) is a trading name of Stark Travel Services Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17251975. Our registered office is 66 Paul Street, London, Greater London, England, EC2A 4NA. We are the controller of the personal information described in this notice, which means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for looking after it.
If you have a question about this notice or about your information, email us at fernando@starktravelservices.com.
The information we collect
When you use the forms on this site, we collect:
- your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number
- the trip you ask about: where from and to, your dates, the cabin, the number of travellers and any deal you picked
- which form you used and the page you sent it from
If you go ahead and book, we also collect what the airline needs to issue your ticket. That usually means each traveller's full name exactly as it appears on their passport, their date of birth, contact details and, for some routes, passport details. We also keep a record of your booking and your payments.
If you tell us about a medical condition, mobility need or dietary requirement so that the airline can help you, we use it only to pass it to the airline, and only with your agreement.
If you email or call us, we keep a record of what we discussed so we can follow up.
Cookies and technical information
This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The tools that run the site may store a small amount of technical information in your browser so that pages and forms work properly. We do not use it to identify you or to follow you on other sites. Our website host keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure.
If we add analytics or other cookies that are not essential, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
How we use it and why we are allowed to
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a price. You asked us to, so we use your details to take the steps you requested before any contract.
- To make and manage your booking. We need your details to carry out our contract with you.
- To keep booking and financial records. The law requires us to keep these.
- To deal with questions, changes and complaints, keep the site secure and prevent fraud. These are our legitimate interests, and we weigh them against your rights.
- To send you deals or news. Only if you have said yes. You can stop them at any time by replying to one of those emails or by emailing us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.
Who we share it with
- the airlines you book with, and the companies that issue tickets for them, so your booking can be made
- payment providers, to take your payment
- the companies that host this website and send our emails, under contracts that only let them use your information to provide that service to us
- our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed
- the police, regulators or other authorities, where the law requires it
Sending information outside the UK
Many airlines are based outside the UK, so to book your flight we may need to send your details to them abroad. We do this because it is necessary to carry out your booking. Where one of our service providers handles your information outside the UK, we make sure there are safeguards in place that UK law recognises, such as a UK adequacy decision or the UK's approved international data transfer agreement.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: 12 months from our last contact, then deleted.
- Bookings and payment records: 6 years from the end of the financial year the booking falls in, because tax and accounting law requires it.
- Emails and notes of calls: as long as the enquiry or booking they relate to.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your information
- ask us to limit how we use it, or object to how we use it
- ask us to send it to you, or to another organisation, in a common format
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it
Some of these rights have limits. For example, we cannot delete booking records the law says we must keep. To use any of them, email fernando@starktravelservices.com. We will reply within 1 month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, on its website at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping it safe
Only the people who need your information to deal with your enquiry or booking can see it, and the services we use protect it while it is sent and while it is stored.
